Potty training: is my child ready?

Rasanye dah time utk ku potty training adam. So mulai hari ni..nak start ajar adam ke toilet bila nak syisyiiiiiii..hehe.
Ni ada tips utk mengetahui samaada anak kita dah ready utk potty training. and almost semua ciri2 tu dah ada kat adam. i think adam dah cukup bersedia for it. so nak try la..hehe. hopefully mudah la nak train adam dgn jaya nye :)

From Babycenter:
It probably seems like just yesterday that you changed your baby's first nappy, but before you know it, she'll be ready to start potty training. While there's no magic age at which a child is ready to start using the potty, most toddlers will develop the necessary physical and cognitive skills between 18 and 24 months of age (though some aren't ready to start until they're as old as four). Use the checklist below to keep track of your toddler's progress toward readiness.

You don't have to wait until you've checked off every item to start training; rather, look for a general trend toward independence and an understanding of what it means to go to the bathroom like a grown-up.

Your child may be ready to start potty training if she:

• Has regular, soft, formed bowel movements [Me: yup..]
• Can pull her pants up and down [Me: yesza..adam dah pandai bukak seluar sendiri..pamper pon pandai bukak sendiri skrang ni..:)]
• Imitates others' bathroom habits (likes to watch you go to the bathroom, wants to wear underwear, and so on) - [Me: yg ni blom lg la. maybe blum expose dia dgn underwear]
• Makes a physical demonstration when she's having a bowel movement (such as grunting, squatting or telling you) - [Me: yes, semestinye..klu po-po..of coz. hehe]
• Has words for stool and urine - [Me: adam dah pandai ckp "yak..yak"]
• Can follow simple instructions (such as "Give me the toy.") - [Me: adam memang dah pandai mengikut arahan, sbb ibu and abah dia selalu suruh dia buat itu ini..hehe. cth "adam tlg buang dlm tong sampah" "adam letak baju dalam bakul" "adam amik remote tu..bg kat abah"..hehe]• Understands the physical signals that mean she has to go and can tell you before it happens - [Me: yg ni x sure..sbb kekadang ok..kekadang tu x kot..hehe]• Dislikes the feeling of being in a dirty nappy - [Me: memang pon..klu yak..cepat je dia ajak masuk toilet]
• Has "dry" periods of at least three or four hours (this shows her bladder muscles are developed enough to hold her urine in and store it) - [Me: yup betul..kekdang tu la]
• Isn't negative about everything - [Me: x paham la..ape ni]
• Understands the value of putting things where they belong - [Me: adam memang pandai dah..klu amik buku..lepas dia baca..dia akan letak blk kat tempatnye :)]
• Demonstrates a desire for independence - [Me: boleh kot]
• Can walk and sit down - [Me: yes..can]
