News: Limited edition Myvi LE introduced - Star-Motoring

Now, here's something that'll add colour to your life. If you've been thinking of a Perodua Myvi that's slightly different, colour-wise, well, then the LE version must surely be it.

Launched today, it's a limited edition run, the variant is, and the company says it is aimed primarily at young and hip ladies who want to make a statement with a car that matches their lifestyle.

The shades available no doubt help cement this focus. There are three choices for the LE, these being Ivory White, Ebony Black and a new colour, Dazzling Red.


A bit Barney-ish, no?



The Myvi LE, based on the 1.3l Standard auto variant, comes with additional exterior and interior features. The interior gets new trim colours, seat fabric, door inner handles, exclusive carpet mat and decorative cubic printing on the centre cluster as well as the door trim armrests.

Also in the mix are dual front airbags, USB and Bluetooth connectivity for the audio system. Oh, and a vanity mirror for ahem, the driver as well.

Apart from the new body colours, the Myvi LE's exterior gets smoke clear rear combination lamps, Limited Edition grade marking and new side door moulding.

All these features come for just an additional RM1,700, compared with the 1.3 Standard AT variant, which makes the price of the Myvi LE RM48,600 (in metallic; it's RM500 less in solid). Perodua hopes to sell about 1,000 units of the Myvi LE out of the total 7,000 Myvis currently being sold monthly.
