You might have heard that girls are easier to train than boys, but that's not really true. "Girls aren't easier to train, though they do take to the potty a few months earlier on average than boys do," says Scott J. Goldstein, M.D., a pediatrician at The Northwestern Children's Practice in Chicago. But that doesn't mean your daughter will be ready earlier. Plenty of girls are just as resistant to potty training as boys are at an early age, so it's crucial to start training only when the time is right for your child. The good news is that girls can be neater than boys; they tend to be more aware of good hygiene (like wiping and washing their hands). Also, because they sit when using the potty, it's less likely that urine will end up all over the bathroom floors and cabinets. My experiences for my 2 kids boy and girl:
Adam - free from diapers before august 2012 which is before his 3rd birthday :).
Although get potty trained adam is more easier than damia in term of direction because adam is more follow the instruction without any argument, but I had his potty trained in almost 2 weeks and very challenging. maybe it is my 1st time experiences.
Damia - same as Adam before her 3rd birthday but a slightly late from his brother which is on September 2014 :).
However damia having many argument with my instruction but surprising me that she can manage free of diapers only in 2 days. And she can sleep without any diapers at night and just going toilet in the morning. good job my girl :)

Start slow, and to pique interest, let your child watch you use the bathroom, let her pick out underwear decorated with her favorite character, and cheer her on if she does use the potty.
